Cosmetic Fillers Cedar Grove NJ
Dermal fillers are gel-like substances that are injected beneath the skin to restore lost volume, smooth lines and soften creases, or enhance facial contours. More than 1 million men and women annually have chosen this popular facial rejuvenation treatment, which can be a cost-effective way to look younger without surgery or downtime.
Did you know that many visible signs of aging can be traced back to volume loss? As facial tissues thin out, lines become etched around the nose and mouth and cheeks look a little hollow. Dermal fillers can replace lost volume to help smooth wrinkles, plump the lips, and restore a more youthful appearance. Learn all about injectable filler treatments below.
Radiesse® Treatment
Radiesse® is another type of “filler” that provides a similar anti-aging effect as Juvederm®, in that it diminishes the lines of the nasolabial (nose and lip) folds and on the upper lip, adds volume to the cheeks, and contours the chin and jaw. This injectable anti-aging treatment is made of calcium hydroxyapatite in a water-based gel. Patients may develop mild swelling and bruising but are frequently able to return to work the next day. Radiesse® is also indicated for correction of volume loss in the dorsum (or back) of the hand that occurs with aging.
JUVÉDERM® Treatment
We receive many patients desiring lip enhancement through JUVÉDERM® injections at our New Jersey offices. Today, full but natural looking lips are considered both attractive and desirable. JUVÉDERM® or Vollure are the best fillers for lip enhancement. These fillers usually last 1 year.
RADIESSE and JUVÉDERM® are also used for nasolabial folds, more commonly known as “smile lines” or “laugh lines”. These lines, which run from the sides of the nose to the corners of the mouth, are one of the first signs of aging. Radiesse is thicker and last longer, but it is best for patients with deep wrinkles.
Vollure® Treatment
A first of its kind hyaluronic acid filler that is FDA approved for the correction of moderate to severe wrinkles and nasolabial folds (also known as “smile lines”) while allowing for natural facial expressions and movements. Patients can enjoy results up to 18 months with Vollure XC long-lasting filler.
VOLBELLA® Treatment
VOLBELLA® is also used for lip enhancement and correction of perioral lines. Made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally occurring substance in the body, this filler is optimal for those interested in a more subtle enhancement. Treatments involving fillers such as VOLBELLA® can be repeated as necessary to maintain your desired look. To set up a consultation, contact one of our offices today.
BOTOX® Treatment
BOTOX® treatment at Dr. Fretta’s Vein and Rejuvenation is an excellent option for those frustrated by the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on their face but not looking for a surgical solution. BOTOX® Cosmetic is a purified form of the botulinum toxin which, when injected into the skin around a line, works to relax the small facial muscles that control the wrinkle.
